A Collaborative Community Workshop
I’m planning a whole day workshop on AI and Community on 21st August. If you’re seeing this and you are a community organiser, activist or actionist or simply an concerned resident in Newham this may interest you.
Time:
10:00 – 16:00
Venue:
University of East London
University Way, London E16 2RD, UK
Building = Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability
Register for the workshop here: https://luma.com/fdjnmvjg
Sign up to the Newham Mosaic website here: https://newhammosaic.org/sign-up/
Start conversation here: https://newhammosaic.org/naic-workshop-21st-august/
The key idea is that as a community we can use AI to empower rather than disempower us as individuals and as a community. The point of the workshop is not only to discuss why we need to do this (obvious) or how we might do this but to work together and make a start doing it.
Here’s a link to the Luma page where you can register for the workshop and get information about the where (UEL Docklands Campus) and when.
The workshop is not about what I think and do, it is about what everyone attending thinks and can do and about how we can think and do better together.
I fully understand if you are not able to be there on the day but do let me know if you are interested in the idea of community intelligence created by the community and for the community.
